Summer; the BEST time of the year!
Full of BBQ, Cookout’s, tons of Ice Cream and of course my personal favorite…
Before you know those calories are adding up +up +up!
I am determined this summer to not let those summer pounds creep up on me!
I created a [Movements] board on Pinterest with great tips and exercises to help stay motivated and to have fun staying in MOTION and to WORK IT OUT all summer long!
From yoga to endurance I have found great pins that offer a wide variety of fitness for both the body and the mind which is a key factor in staying healthy!
First off….the NO EXCUSE Chart;
I just LOVE this guide! It is funny and motivational at the SAME TIME!!!
The FOOD guide;
This is a great guide to help figure out what to eat not only BEFORE a great work out but also AFTER you have worked it out! I am not the most knowledgeable and this charts helps out!
The Tribute Workout;
I LOVE Hunger Games and this tribute workout is a great way for me to be entertained and to keep my head “in the game!”
Ehh…RUNNING;
Running; not my favorite to say the least! I always have a hard time trying to constantly run, however after trying out this Interval Running it has been a lot easier! It even helps to create a more positive approach for me since I am able to keep up with this plan!
And as ALWAYS...
LOVE YOURSELF! No MATTER what you look like, how much you weigh, you are BEAUTIFUL INSIDE & OUT! So please…no BEATING yourself up, no self HATRED and no matter what you are WORTH IT!

What activities do you just LOVE during Summer?
Have a HEALTHY & HAPPY summer!
I love smores too! I’m trying to stay on track with my half marathon training 3x a week, and a day of yoga thrown in too.

Good luck! I am about to go on vacation to see the family and I know there will be TONS of food and S’mores and I will just have to enjoy and exercise a little bit harder when I return! The good thing is I KNOW my big sis will want to run like EVERY morning so that will be great! Thanks for reading and I hope you have a productive week!

I’m trying to keep those summer pounds off too. I really like the Interval running chart. I am terrible at running, but trying to increase my endurance, so maybe this will help?

I HATE running! I am working on the endurance and I notice a difference, slow but moving! I am able to run for longer and longer times…not non-stop however a longer period than just 30 seconds! Hahahehah! Try it out, I hope it helps, let me know how it goes! Good luck and I hope you have a lovely and productive week!

What a great idea for a board—to keep yourself and OTHERS motivated, too. I love the should I exercise chart. I should probably stick a copy up on my wall this summer….I’ve never run intervals, but I think it would help my running. Okay, I haven’t run in over a year, but maybe intervals would help me, right??

Ha! Thanks! I use this to keep myself motivated to to have others keep me in check! I have not run in SO LONG! I want to start so I am doing the intervals to try and train my body how to breath while running, which seems to be the hardest part and why I normally don’s want to run! I would suggest to try the intervals, they seriously help you get into the groove! Good Luck!

Haha, I really need to get my butt motivated and get to the gym more often. I’m terrible about it… And here I am paying every month but not taking advantage of it.

Ohhno! That is why I joined Planet Fitness for only $10 or $20 a month if I don’t make it out very often one month I don’t feel as bad! Although I really love being at the gym! I have not gone for a while tho and I just paid my yearly fee of like $50 and then cancelled it and now I feel like I wasted money! I recently moved and an too far from the gym so I wanted to do activities to build up my strength and endurance that I do NOT have to go to the gym for! I do live in the beautiful city of Charleston so outdoor activities are perfect! I love my Pinterest board! I print out the best workouts and motivational tips and tape them EVERYWHERE! Good luck and thanks for visiting my BLOG!

That interval run is the bomb. That’s what I do whenever I actually get a moment to run & helps the time pass. Great tips!!

Oh it totally is great! You spend more time thinking about changing up your pace that you don’t even realize the time! Way more fun than just running at a steady pace and healthy for you too! Thanks for checking out my tips and hope you have a fantastic week!

Summer is tough! I usually don’t eat as heavy since I really hate eating when it is hot! I usually stick with salad and smoothies! However this summer I have been eating out and having a few drinks which is not the best! It is so humid in the South as well so I am not as motivated to even walk let alone work out outside! After next week tho I am going to be buckling back down and working it out! Thanks for checking out my post! Good luck on your healthy summer!
